Stampbook Saturday - Angela

Hey there everyone - welcome to Stampbook Saturday!!!  I've had an amazing week showing you all of my goodies.  For my stampbook page, I was inspired by Holly's sketch from a few weeks ago.  It made for a great starting point for the "sand" on my page.  You're probably wondering about my page right?  Hehe...  My parents just got back from an amazing two months in both Australia and New Zealand.  I had asked them what one of their highlights from their trip was and both said it was going to the Great Barrier Reef. So in honor of that, I decided to make a stampbook page that they will be able to put a picture on.  I had hoped to get a pic from them without them knowing but with over 12,000 pics to go through I couldn't exactly look at the pictures without them finding out.  So within the next few days I'll have a picture on this page.  The fish are from the mini set "Best Fishes" and they have been watercolored with my watercolor pencils and then I put Diamond Stickles on top of them.  (The Stickles unfortunately dried a little funny so I think I may pull these fish off and re-color more and then add them again).  I used some of the words from the set "Polka Dot Pals". My parents' trip was 5 years in the making so I thought these were the perfect way to highlight their adventures.  The little circles are abalone type shells that they had bought in Australia (my stepdad said to my mom that he had to buy them for me).

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
